1. Great question!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So many folks just toss their old electronics and batteries into the garbage & have no idea the problems that causes. Other than the 2 links below, you might want to put up a note/or ask at your local colleges or schools if they need parts. I did my senior project on building a beowulf cluster on scavenged parts & we really could have used donations.
2. I'm a tech, building and repairing machines in the state of Florida. I do quite a bit of charity work for the Home for Abused Women, Retirement homes etc. It's appreciated so much because without you, it wouldnt be possible for them to enjoy themselves as we all do.
