Where can I recycle my used computer?

My computer is fried and I need to find somewhere to recycle. What kind of place recycles computer parts?

3. Our local "used computer" stores take used computers and equipment even if in non-working condition. They can restore computers and resell.

5. Do not throw it in the garbage! There has been a lot of pollution over seas because these "fried" computers are being sent there on a regular basis and polluting massive areas of land and computer hardware is very unsafe. I would bring it to a local computer company and just tell them they can have it or maybe bargain for the parts. My dad owns a computer company and they can fix almost anything or at least use the other parts that are still working fine.
