I am looking for a HD caddy & adaptor for a HP Pavillion dv8000 series notebook. HP is of no help?

HP says they do not carry this part and it is only available as part of a new HD unit from hp or from an authorized repair center. I need to know where to get it or if caddies for other hp model notebooks are interchangeable. I purchased an identical drive to the original to add more space (there is a second HD bay) and now cannot install it w/o the part. Please help if possible. Thanks.

1. the dv8000 has indeed dual hard drives up to 100GB each. best bet for you - look on ebay, there will be offered HD caddies sometimes.
